1) Please for christ include a hand history or something easier to read.

2) There's no reason to raise to 6BB preflop.

3) Don't post results.

4) Of course you [censored] call.

why no reason to rais X6 how would you play in from the button ? 3 people in the pot before you decide ?

See, you didn't mention in your crappy post that there were three limpers. Just post the hand history, but that raise size is probably all right with three limpers. Maybe 5BB.

So sorry about your bad beat. Just be glad there is an idiot out there calling 6x BB raises with 57, if there werent you would make a lot less money in the long run.

sorry for the "crappy" post. played 3 tables when it happened and wanted to ask you guys what you think .

i think i have seen way to many of those today.
did not expect it to happen on a 100+9 table .

anyhow , it happens to many times. and i wanted to think
are there any known signs in the ONLINE world of poker to recognise you are beat in these situations ?

Please understand I'm not trying to be rude here. If you have to ask that question you should not be playing $109s.

u are right on the principals but not correct in general.
in fact , i begin to think that in early tourney stages
the move should be to fold and to take the IDIOT for SURE
on one of the next hands.

MID tourney it is realy a strugle if to call or not and depends on his / yours STACK SIZE.

and late tourney , this is 100% call.

Idiots are what make us money. I was called by AJo on the bubble yesterday by someone who barely had me covered, we both had 2700 chips, the other two on 600 or something, I had 33, he spiked a jack, it happens. (Blinds were 150/300) I was also called by T9s by someone with 780 chips in his blind of 150/300 in the other game, which virtually knocked me out 4th, when I had A8s. Oh, and A2o when I had A9o, blah blah - I could go on - what's the point? It's variance.

Of course he should be playing the 109s....as long as he's at my table.

I presume it was 4 handed, and that BB with 780 chips was the shortstacked(obviously together with you). So you think he should have folded and been left with 480 chips?

tigerite

It was 780 after he had posted his blind, not before

Sabrazack

So he called 780 into a pot of 1400 with T9s? Doesn't seem like a really bad call to me. Unless where was another very short stack.

god allmighty,

Did you guys read gildwulf suggestion that he might have to hire a monkey to remove his software so that he didn't kill himself in the process...

Hysterical.

I had him covered, thus he was putting his tournament on the line.

Given everything you've told us so far. This is much less worse of a call than you're making it out to be.

Fair enough. There was a similar stack to his of 1000 though. Anyway it was just meant as an aside to the original poster, I can live with it, didn't bother me to be honest.
