villain is new to table, so no reads
$10+1 tourney on Stars. little after first break

I had 1820 before hand
villain had 3700

blinds 75/150

i open raised to 500 in MP with KK and folds around to villain in BB who calls.
pot=1075

flop: 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif6/images/graemlins/club.gif2/images/graemlins/heart.gif

villain leads for 300. i push?

i cant just raise cuz that commits me and calling lets villain see his possible draw cheaply.

so pushing is my only option here right?

Pot is 1375 and you call his 300 and raise an additional 1020... so it is 1020 to call for villain with a pot of 2695. Does he have odds to call a flush draw? The answer is yes. So, smooth call the flop. If he's on a flush draw and it doesn't come through on the turn, then you can push it when he doesn't have odds to call. If he calls not having odds to draw, and hits, then there was nothing more you could have done.

BTW, if he isn't on a draw and is just testing the waters, you may get more out of him by just calling the flop bet.

I would hope he is on the flush draw and push being happy to get my chips in ahead. When the flush doesn't get their on the turn he might fold to your push, I wan't to get the chips in while he is still willing to gamble.
