Is there a way to improve my play here. My idea was to check and if
a) the opponent check, I push at the turn.
b) the opponent raise a demi-pot, I could reraise all-in ( is it wrong ? )
c) the opponent bet the pot, here I fold because he gave me the sensation to chase away from the flush draw.

And do you think my preflop raise was too small ? what raise would you do at a 33$ or higher buy-in ?

no, i don't think it was bad at all. the PF raise is fine with only 1 likely caller. given your representation PF, i think we have to lead out on the flop 1/2-3/4....more expensive granted, with a call - but checking is simply giving it up (which isn't absolutely horrible this early).

I would just bet about 100 on the flop and hope they fold. It's clearly less likely that they have a king than they don't. I'm willing to bet a little more than half the pot to find out.

What would you do if they called and the turn did not help your hand and was not a spade? How about if they re-raised your 100 bet to say 250? Do you change your play if a spade came up here?

I'm thinking check/fold the first one and fold the second? Or do you come over the top and go all-in here?

Thanks,

OP, a K is a lot less scary than an A. I would bet here, 1/2 maybe 2/3 pot. If you are called or reraised be done with it (unless you improve of course). Even if it was an A, I'd likely bet 1/2 the pot.
