How many hands does one need to play in order to determine in the long run that they are a winning micro player. I know one usually needs at least 10K sample size to analyze stats, but what is the general amount of hands that need to be played in order to know if you are truly making money from poker. I have only used the demo version of Pokertracker, and I've played about 5K hands thus far and although I am winning I have no idea if I'm a consistently winning player yet. Once I get to a X amount of hands needed to evaluate myself, I'm going to plug it into Pokertracker and see how I stand. I can't wait to sign up and clear the pokertracker bonus at Absolute that PSO offers so I can finally use PT.

I rode a 7.91BB/100 avg. over my first 1500 hands to settle to a pleasant 3.5BB/100 over 5k. I'm not sure how many you need, but I think you need more than that. Always remember the more, the better.
