did i do the right thing? i'm thinking no. but the pot odds to my outs seemed really good at the time againsts the lags. and i actually stopped to think about it before i called.

I've been reading SSH while playing and it is improving my game. i learned how to play NL when i was very young and it was always high stakes for me at the time. now i'm having to reverse engineer my play and "learn" to win at loose games. it's been pretty good so far going backwards like this.

my other question is about my current stats. I'm consitently making 11.5 bb /100 playing nl25. i started out with 50 dollars two weeks ago, and after playing every other day for aout 5 hours a day i'm up to 375, roughly 9.50 an hour. i have a graph also. is there a graph thread for nl25 or should i just post it here?

i've played 6500 hands so far so i think my stats are looking ok. i pretty much started off 4 tabling 10 dollars a table and i still do that. i fell that the 25 games are almost too easy, but i may be wrong. i'm wondering if i could be making more? should i move up to NL50?

i've been hanging around reading this forum for months now. so i'm not completely oblivious, just can't seem to find any organized info on low limit no limit as much as limit.
thanks in advance everyone.

edit: i just noticed pt says 13.2 bb/100 my poker grapher is wrong cause my databases are slightly off from a friend loosing 50 bucks on my account 2 mo's ago.

I'd fold AQ there without any specific reads. Though you did say they were lags, and it is $25 NL. You got your money in as roughly a 4-1 underdog getting 2-1 on your money so it was -EV in that particular situation.

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 22.7361 % 21.96% 00.77% { AcQc }
Hand 2: 44.7862 % 44.66% 00.13% { 9c9d }
Hand 3: 32.4778 % 31.71% 00.77% { AhKc }

i dont even call a raise and a re-raise with AQ more or less a push and callers. AQ is easily dominated as u were but glad to see it worked out. my advice is avoid calling off all of your chips against multiple opponents without a premium hand.

ok, i just wanted to make sure. i thought it was pretty lucky. i'm still trying to learn all the odds, reading alot. even though i'm prepared to gamble, i usually try not to without some sort of edge.

what about the other questions? how are my stats looking so far? can i expect a steady upswing with built in variance to continue? especially as i get better at loose games?

right now i try to play for 5 hours a day, and i quit on the dot. if i'm up i don't push for more, and if i'm down i don't try to win it back. there will always be tommorow. tilt, requires a cigarette and it's over, lol.
