I've ran into this alot on FTP and haven't quit figured out what the best way to deal with it is...

The way I've been going about it is limping on monsters and then pushing when I get raised, but I'm not sure if thats the best way to go about it...

What I mean by aggro is there's always a preflop raise, and if I limp from EP I always get raised from behind... Half the time there will be a raise and I'll call with something like KQs and a limper from EP will reraise and get me out of the hand...

How do you guys deal with this?

Thanks

two ways to defeat aggression -

rope-a-dope
the hammer

you can either let them take the lead on a monster hand so that they give you their chips or you can let them raise and then you bring the hammer and make them play for all their chips against a super-strong holding.

any hands you play against super-agressive people you must play decisively.

Well the way its been going, I'll have a hand thats a favorite everytime but the aggroplayer will suck out or chop... Its getting frustrating, and I know it sounds like I'm complaining about a bad beat, but I'll looking for a way to play aggroplayers so I don't have to deal with this stuff...

There probably isn't a way so...

For starters, don't feel like you have to join them. Be EXTREMELY patient. No worries when you blind down a bit the first few levels. Let the maniacs go at it. By L4/5, you'll be approaching the bubble, still holding some FE. The LAG's in early tourney are the same chip dogs that are making rediculous -EV calls on your pushes on/near the bubble. Sit back and enjoy the show, pick your spot and get doubled up.

Ps. Also note who the loose/passive ones are vs. loose/aggressive. Your opportunities later will benefit from knowing what limpers you can push over, etc.

Ya bluefeet hit it on the nail.... from my experience, just be patient as [censored] and sit around and fold a lot and let them get more and more crazy until you see those beautiful ladies shining back at you and click raise allin /images/graemlins/wink.gif

umm..there are plenty of ways. especially at low buy-ins the people that throw around their chips in the beginning are still just as bad later when you have a huge hand.
