There are 30 left in, it pays the top 20. I'm eighth in chips with 14000. Blinds are 400/800. I pick up QQ UTG and raise to 1800. It's folded to the BB who calls; I have him covered by a few hundred. So the pot is 4000, and the flop comes J92r. BB leads out for 4500. What's your line?

I've played a lot of $100 SNGs with the BB, and a few multis, he usually plays solid...if anything, I'd say he plays a little too straightfoward and passive, maybe missing some thin value bets. This flop overbet just completely threw me off. I see him as the type who will always raise/reraise preflop with AA and KK, yet will also slowplay a set on this board.

Easiest push ever. Sorry you ran into a set or an overpair.

Therefore you are losing to nothing except a weird and very unlikely 2 pair? You said it yourself, there isnt much you are behind. Push.
