I think my preflop raise may have been way to low on 20-40 blinds, but it was 5 handed (4 players gone in like first 5 hands) and I wanted some kind of action, so I didn't think making it 200 to go would be good.

Do I lay this down or call because its AA and I have to. I think I'll see a 5 here every time, which makes me re-evaluate my preflop raise. It's so hard to call here.

From the poker aspect, its a way-ahead/way-behind situation... He could have any variety of hands, I'd think he's on 8x or maybe 67 or a diamond flush...

From the fact that its a $2 buy-in, I'd call...

You have a little under half your stack here, plus even if your trailing a five you have a slim possibility of catching that miracle ace or running diamonds...

It was set up with the raise though, you should've raised more on the flop...

I guess you could be up against a monster made hand here like 88, or 85, even maybe a monster draw like 6d7d...

I'd put the money in here, but its just me...

I meant on the flop, and I misread that. Either way, I guess I don't like the flop bet. Half your stack kinda bites, maybe a bit too much strength considering your turn shove. I think I might just push flop like that.

With that many people gone that early, its obvious either A) A lot of really big hands were in play or B) A lot of really loose calls were made

In either case, you need to protect that big pocket this early. There was one limp in front of you, making it only 3xBB with the limp was the wrong move. Making it 5xBB would have been better. 4xBB standard + 1 for the limp.

If you're STILL called and he STILL has you beat when you push that flop, so be it.
