Folded to MP, who makes it 3xBB, two callers, you have on button:

1. SC
2. AQ
3. 33
4. 99
5. 74o

Why am I not making it 15xBB every time here?

because your bluffing frequency goes up and thus correspondingly his range to 3 bet/smoothcall lead flop with.

if he is tight, I would consider only doing this with 74o as the ev difference between me folding and me raising is the greatest.

this is like saying, table is tight, and you have tight image, why wouldn't you raise to 10xBB when limped to you on the BB with any 2?

because you're making a bigger pot, reopening the betting for someone to reraise, and reducing your implied odds with a bunch of hands that you would love to play a flop with the best position, a small-ish preflop pot, and lots of implied odds.....although, you don't make mention of what the hypothetical stack sizes are...

Because after the third time you do this, you're gonna get people coming over the top and will lose your 15BBs.

so you are doing this based on some game theory thing yes?

I reraise 76s and trash like 74o say every 1/4 time this situation occurs as those have the least chances of winning the pot and thus will give me the greatest EV difference between calling/folding and reraising. the first time I go to showdown, I switch it up.

i've never played SC on the button so i would'nt know

i call or raise with 2 depending on the open raiser

i call with 3 and 4 to flop a set and use position on the whole field

i fold 5, i guess i don't play in games big enough where playing this hand has a point
