Hand the $430 Mini Step Tournament
I got in after buying in for a $50. The 50 and 150 were incredibly weak.

As the river came I said '[censored]' outloud. On the turn I was afraid of a set, and getting CR all in, which is why I only bet 150. Too little? I thought it was giving the hands i beat impropper odds and minimizing the damage against CR.

55/66 seemed like a likely holding, both of which just raped me. The pot was so big I had to call.

I think you need to bet more on the turn. Hard to know if you are behind or not on the river. I'd probably call. Think you are ahead more than 1/3 of the time.

I wasn't sure what a bigger bet would accomplish. What can call 150 there profitably?

You probably wont drive out 55 and 66 with a 150 bet.

You are upset with a 5 outer calling with 3-1?

Bump.

It might just be me but I think the turn play is interesting.

200 on the flop, shove turn. Not seeing rivers with overpairs is a very good thing.

I thought by offering him 3-1, I am giving him a chance to make a mistake.

I don't know which hands can profitably call 150, but will correctly fold to a push.

*cough* Implied odds *cough*

3-1 = 6 outs for AK. 3-1 = chance for Villain to represent something on the river. Your hand is reverse implied odds. Don't let someone get 3-1.

Im more concerned with winning the hand than squeezing everything out of it.

Lets go through the cards that you wouldnt like to see on the river: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, T, K, A. Thats the reason you should focus on taking down the pot on the turn.

Ha, this is a rare case of playing better when multitabling. I overthought this as I only had one table. If I was 4 tabling I would instant push this turn but I tried to get cute.

That's what I get for trying to actually put villian on a hand /images/graemlins/smile.gif

i raise more pf. you have 2 limpers. standard pot sized raise is to 85. i make it 90 here. if i get 2 callers, i fire 200-225 at the flop. i hate it when pos hands stick around to suck out. holla
