DOTA FOR THE WIN! Blizzard should seriously just add this map to the ladder it's played so damn much, and that way people are less inclined to douche games up by leaving.

Me and my 2 roommates are pretty crazy about it. Our screennames are PreyOnU (the best), cun7pun7 (2nd best) and then Dhalsim(me, the worst). I do pretty well though.
And oh 6.12b sucks balls.

I used to be pretty addicted to this game, but finally got sick of its repetitiveness a few weeks ago. I haven't even played 6.10.

Tough to describe. Basically, you get a Hero, buy various items for him, and try to take out the opposing team's base. Each Hero has 4 skills, including an "ultimate" which is usually a very powerful spell capable of doing massive damage. Teams are between 2-5 Heroes for each side. The ultimate goal is to destroy the opposing team's base, which is protected by a computer controlled army and powerful "towers" at various points in the map, which have to be destroyed in order to reach the base.

The heroes are really what make the game fun. Some are pushers - heroes adept at taking out towers and the enemy army, but not so good at fighting other heroes. Others are hero killers. As the game progresses, certain heroes gain strength and others lose strength. For example, magic heroes are typically at their strongest in the mid game, while physical heroes are weak early on, but very powerful late game.

I got tired of playing War3 long ago but still play DotA all the time. The only bad thing is the god damn leavers... Leavers are gay...

rofl, I thought I was the only loser who played it. Good to know there are others. I am sort of a DOTA donk in that I only play one hero (fletcher) /images/graemlins/frown.gif. What server do you guys play on? I'm on east/azeroth all the time.

I play on West. Fletcher sucks lol. I own fletchers. Ursa is my new drug hero. Crazy good. Played some shadowfiend too. Quite decent.

Fun game, haven't played in a while though but I can play a mean Lich and Venomancer.

Played a veno game yesterday. Was pretty funny. Ended up 24-3.

I own at this game. I can random any char and play it optimally.

This is such an unbalanced game. There are too many tactics and moves that have no counters, the only counter is simply playing safe and not getting into a dangerous situation in the first place. Which is why the game is too easy, so many reckless n00bs.

Whats ur nick and what server do u play on? Right now Morphling is the most broken character. He can own anyone. Which is why I dont play him.
