I just hit my longest drive ever today. 342 yards or so. Nice having a PW as a 2nd shot into a par 5. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

There was no wind but must have got a good bounce as it must have rolled a ways.

Usually hit drives near or around or just over the 300 yard mark but this one felt great.

Ball was a 2005 Pro V1 and club was a Callaway ERC Fusion 2004 model.

400

It was 250 then rolled another 150 downhill /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Something like that anyway, I can't hit my driver for anything this summer

Probably around 315. Pretty consistent at 260-270 though, not bad.

I routinely fly the ball 270 yards and get about -2 feet of roll since the fairwatys are so damn soft. Longest Drive in those conditions is about 340.

Over shot the green on par 4, Hole 1 of my local golf course. 380 yards to the hole (so about 390ish) of course this is downhill with a 30mph wind directly at my back, ah... fun day hitting north.

my back's been bothering me a bit, but I can stripe them a good 380-400 when I get a hold of one. I've actually driven a few par fives with my very longest

Never been very long. My longest were in the 325-340 range at Denver's altitude. That was persimmon and balata. Some guys around the course I played at could push 400 with the old equipment sometimes, and very often be in the 325-350 range. I am even shorter now being fatter older out of shaper and playing less. Recently have been hitting the Ping driver with a pro V better. 270 when I catch it, getting my rancid 250 easier. Hoping for a consistent 260 or so, that would be OK. I am good at pulling the ball though. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

314 yards. Stepped off by a caddie at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida. Downwind on a very firm fairway!

It likely rolled about 85-90 yards.

Id be willing to bet that I have the longest here: 400 yards. I normally hit my driver 300, but this one was downhill with the wind in colorado.

buncha [censored] liars here.

I love it.

Uh, 325 or so. Crushed it. Angry. Right down the middle. Didn't roll much.

I hit a 2 iron about 350 once. Nice down hill roll. Rolled on the green.

This thread absolutely reeks of 'Drive for show, putt for dough' /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm only about 240-260 off the tee with probably a 270 as my best...

But I've got 26 and 27 putt rounds under my belt, so...

About 1,200 miles. From Tupelo, MS to Aberdeen, SD to play in the Mocassin Creek CC. Inv. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

264 yards. Reached the green on the shortest par-4 ever created. I've never bought good golf clubs in my life (I'm not close to good enough, nor do I play enough, to make the investment worth it), so it was with your run-of-the-mill Walmart medium-head driver.

Not that I can prove it one way or the other ... but I have a hard time believing some of you. Especially the ones who say their average drives are in the 330-350 range.

I'm 5'10 160, and my average drive is around 250. When I go after it, I can get it up to around 280 or so.

To give an idea, from about 510 yards on Pebble Beach's 2nd hole, I roped a driver and roped a 3wood and reached the back of the green.

I once drove a 300 yard par 4 (it was really steep downhill) and sunk the ensuing 20-footer for eagle. That has been the acme of my golf career to date.

I normally drive it like 250 at best; which is odd because i hit my 7-iron 180 or so. I just can't hit the driver worth a damn.

My golf game has gone for [censored]. When I was 18 I could hit it 300 on occasion with persimmon and balata. Now I can't hit it out of my own shadow with titanium and a proV1. Seriously I am hitting a driver that has to be 30 yards longer a ball that is at least 30 yards longer and my drives are 50 yards shorter. I hate middle age.
