i just used cardplayer.com's hold'em calculator to see who's the favorite in a J/images/graemlins/heart.gif9/images/graemlins/heart.gif vs A/images/graemlins/spade.gif2/images/graemlins/club.gif on a Q/images/graemlins/heart.gifA/images/graemlins/club.gifT/images/graemlins/heart.gif flop, and it told me that the J/images/graemlins/heart.gif9/images/graemlins/heart.gif is a 55.8 to 44.2 favorite. Really?

Yes, with Open ended straoght flush draw, you have 15 outs, which with two cards to come has about a 55% chance to make one of those draws.

ah yes. two cards to come. forgot about that part /images/graemlins/smile.gif

i guess there's no way to tell the cardplayer calculator to give you odds with only one card to come. but in my situation all the money did go in on the flop. don't ask me which side i was on /images/graemlins/smile.gif

put a blank on the turn and cardplayer will give you the odds with 1 card to come
