Ante in Texas Hold'em??

Am a beginner; on TV poker they mention ante bets as well as small and large blinds. Is this also at the tables in Vegas? Thanks, Ron (ront2@socal.rr.com)

Antes in hold 'em are usually only seen in the latter stages of tournaments. You wouldn't ordinarily see them in a ring game, but I suppose anything is possible.
