....that isn't about love. It could be about anything, but it must ring true (i.e. you gotta believe that the person singing it means it and would say these things to you if it wasn't in a song.) I am going with "1000 Dollar Car" by The BottleRockets, followed closely by "[censored] School" by the Replacements. Yours?

I know, I'm gay etc for listening to Julio, but he is the #1 seller of all time( more than Madonna, MJ, etc). Call me weird..its what I am.

Silent Majority-- If you were ever in the scene you would appreciate Polar Bear Club...hell any "scene".

Silent Majority Polar Bear Club lyrics Silent Majority Polar Bear Club lyrics

to me this is a life style and not some silly trend
and years from now when they're all gone
I pray that we're still friends
in the sand at Gilgo beach
in the year two thousand and sixteen
I'll be 42 and so will you
in our chairs right by the sea
faded tatoos on our legs and back
and our feet are buried in the sand
I just bought a microphone for my kid
'cause she's tryin' out for a band
the time is now, the time is here
this times forever am i clear-stop-go!

Korn - "Daddy"

Mother please forgive me
I just had to get out all my pain and suffering
Now that I am done, remember I will always love you
I'm your son

Little child, looking so pretty
Come out and play, I'll be your daddy
Innocent child, looking so sweet
A rape in my eyes and on your flesh I'll eat

You've raped!
I feel dirty
It hurt!
As a child
Tied down!
That's a good boy
And fu**ed!
Your own child
I scream!
No one hears me
It hurt!
I'm not a liar
My God!
Saw you watching
Mommy why?!
Your own child

It's alright

I didn't touch you there
Mama said she didn't care
I didn't touch you there
That's why mama stopped and stared

I fu**ing hate you! Mother fu**er!
Mother Fu**er! I fu**ing hate you! Fu*k You!
You son of a bitch, you fu**ing ruined my life!
I wanted to die!
I'm sick of it, mother fu**er . . . oh oh
Why'd you fu*k'n do it to me?
I Hate You!
I Fu*k'n Hate You!
I Hate You!
Why?!
I Hate You!

Kinks, Get Back In Line.

Facing the world ain’t easy when there isn’t anything going
Standing at the corner waiting watching time go by
Will I go to work today or shall I bide my time
’cos when I see that union man walking down the street
He’s the man who decides if I live or I die, if I starve, or I eat
Then he walks up to me and the sun begins to shine
Then he walks right past and I know that I’ve got to get back in the line
Now I think of what my mamma told me
She always said that it would never ever work out
But all I want to do is make some money
And bring you home some wine
For I don’t ever want you to see me
Standing in that line
’cause that union man’s got such a hold over me
He’s the man who decides if I live or I die, if I starve, or I eat
Then he walks up to me and the sun begins to shine
Then he walks right past and I know that I’ve got to get back in the line

Dean Martin - I Love Vegas.

Drink to me only....that's all I ask.
And I will drink to you.
I don't care if the sun don't shine.
I do my drinking in the evening time.
When I'm in Las Vegas.
You can sit in the sun and camp.
I get my color from a sun ray lamp.
When I'm in Las Vegas.

I love the laughs, I love the life, there's fun of every kind.
Next time I come I'll bring my wife, I'll do that if I lose my
mind.
A wife in Vegas take my advice,
It's like going to China with a sack of rice.
But I love Las Vegas.

I love Vegas in the summer.
mmmmmm I love Vegas in the fall.
I love Vegas, when I say that it's a gasser.
I love Vegas like it's Egypt and I'm Nasser
I, I love Vegas every moment,
It's my favorite atmosphere
Oh I, I love Vegas,
Why oh why do I love Vegas?
Because my money's here.

I love Vegas when I'm winning,
mmmmmm I love it when I lose.
I love Vegas, like the army loves it's manuals.
I love Vegas, like Sinatra loves Jack Daniels.
I, I love Vegas every moment.
For Mr. Entratter I must cheer.
Oh I, I love Vegas,
Ich liebe do I love Vegas.
Because my blood is here.

I love Vegas when I'm loaded,
I love it when I am not.
I love Vegas, just like Kruschev loves being indignant,
More than even my wife Jeannie loves being pregnant.

I, I love Vegas every moment,
When I leave I shed a tear.
Oh I, I love Vegas,
Jesus Christ do I love Vegas.
I'll make it, make it good and clear,
It's because.....my girl's right here.

That said, I get choked up every time I hear "A Better Son/Daughter" by Rilo Kiley:

Sometimes in the morning I am petrified and can't move
Awake but cannot open my eyes
And the weight is crushing down on my lungs
I know I can't breathe
And hope someone will save me this time
And your mother's still calling you insane and high
Swearing it's different this time
And you tell her to give in to the demons that possess her
And that god never blessed her insides
Then you hang up the phone and feel badly for upsetting things
And crawl back into bed to dream of a time
When your heart was open wide and you love things just because
Like the sick and dying

And sometimes when you're on
You're really fu[/i]cking on
And your friends they sing along
And they love you
But the lows are so extreme
That the good seems fu[/i]cking cheap
And it teases you for weeks in its absence
But you'll fight and you'll make it through
You'll fake it if you have to
And you'll show up for work with a smile
And you'll be better
You'll be smarter
More grown up and a better daughter or son
And a real good friend
And you'll be awake
You'll be alert
You'll be positive though it hurts
And you'll laugh and embrace all of your friends
And you'll be a real good listener
You'll be honest
You'll be brave
You'll be handsome and you'll be beautiful
You'll be happy

Your ship may be coming in
You're weak but not giving in
To the cries and the wails of the valley below
Your ship may be coming in
You're weak but not giving in
And you'll fight it you'll go out fighting all of them

Of course... it works better with the music...
