I think I hold the new record - 45 chips. Tried to use the convertor but it wasn't working for me.

Someone doubled up hitting a royal flush against me, as I had aces full of jacks. Ouch.

It wasn't against you, it was a female for a start (or at least, the character was) and she had QTh, heh. The royal came on the turn completing my full house with AA.

Two Royal Flushes in 3 days and I only play about 5 to 10 SNG's a day... At least this time I got paid.

My mate lost £100 (approx $200) in a cash game of 5 draw with the joker as a wildcard.

Royal flush, beaten by 5 of a kind, 7s.

Five of a kind is not a legitimate poker hand, maybe you had made up rules specifically about that? Otherwise your friend got pretty PWNED /images/graemlins/smile.gif (He got pretty pwned anyway actually)

Limping UTG with JKs? I don't like it. Fold preflop.

CAlling a raise with ATs... in early position? ALso don't like it. Fold preflop.

. . .that's funny .. .

. .I've had three royal flushes that I've taken to the end and had paid off . .and I've mucked 3 other hands pre-flop that eventually would have been royals had I stayed around. . . /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Five of a kind beats a straight flush in most wild card games I've seen or played.

Think of all the Royal Flushes you would be giving up...

Definately agree with the KJs, not sure what I was doing there.

The ATs was a bit different. The initial raiser min raised earlier with very little, the rest of the table was fairly passive early on and it would only take 3% of my stack to call. It is an easy hand to get away from if anyone reraises or if I miss the flop. I could have TPTK (would highly doubt an overpair if it didn't get reraised), two pairs, a set, a nut flush / straight draw etc. With a smaller stack I fold even if it wasn't raised initially but with a fairly big stack I'll play these hands once in a while.

Maybe it is a leak but I think I'm able to get away with small losses on hands like this and convert them into nice gains when they do hit which isn't all that uncommon. Is the consensus, given my explanation, that I should be folding that ATs without hesitation?

Yes, you won't keep a big stack long by pissing away chips calling raises OOP
