View Full Version : Best Fast Food snack after midnight

Morpheus

I'm the double quarter pounder ordering guy from about a week ago. I ordered the sandwich and there were lots of problems that followed. Right now I'm kind of in fast food limbo where I don't know where to eat. What do you suggest for a good snack ?

White castle ? (please tell me which item)
McDonald's ? (disgusting maybe ? )
Steak N'Shake ?
Burger King ?

Oops, some of these places aren't open past midnight which sucks. I do my best thinking past midnight. I basically do everything between midnight and 4 or 5 am., even paying bills.

I am close to a big city but not as big as New York but I'm still unsure how many places are open past midnight.

If you're in an area of the country where there are Whataburgers, this is the correct choice. Otherwise, Steak and Shake.

But seriously dude, stop eating that [censored].

Where I goto school we have a 24 hour Hardee's. Either Spicy Chicken, Roast Beef, or 2 slammers for $0.99. Right next to the bars. MMMMM can't wait for school.

You know if you order a "breakfast jack sub sourdough" it's 80 cents cheaper than a sourdough breakfast jack and you get the exact same thing. This used to be my staple throughout high school and college. Also the 99 cent chicken sandwiches are awesome as well.

I don't think there are any Jack-in-the-Box's in my state but I've seen them. I can't remember which states have Jack-in-the-box's, though because I've been all over the mid-west.

Hardee's
Wendy's
White Castle

are all possibilities. I think I'm going to go for the Wendy's Spicy Chicken.

I don't know what W. C. is and I've never heard of Whataburger. There is a Sonic Burger in my state but I don't think they are open at Midnight. I wish Papa John's was open 24 hours.

What do you dip the fries in ? I was thinking about the heart attack thing today and I wonder if I should post a poll. Like:

What will be the last sandwich/snack I eat before my heart attack:

1)double quarter pounder at mcd's
2)white castle hamburger
3)soft tacos at taco bell
4)papa john's medium pizza
4)wendy's bacon cheeseburger

BTW, how much do Gyms cost to join ? What are the monthly fees ?

Try some fresh carrots, you awful fat lump.

Don't worry about the gym just yet, start off with *walking* to buy healthy food, instead of driving-thru to pick up a dozen deathburgers.

If you need any help packing in the mechanically-recovered "meat", read Fast Food Nation (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0060938455/qid=1122018558/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/104-1718255-8270346?v=glance&s=books&n=507846), and then watch Super Size Me (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002OXVBO/qid=1122018715/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl74/104-1718255-8270346?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846).

Of this list, S&S is the easy choice for anyone who has ever had a meal there.

Also, does anyone actually eat meals from McDonald's? I'll go there for breakfast, but that's it. I haven't had a McD's burger in 15 years.

If it's done right, McD's food is tasty. The problem is that it's f-ed up at least half the time. A buck for a double cheeseburger is solid when you just need a little hot grease.

White Castle was clearly the correct play here, though.

I'm seconding the Whataburger vote. Best fast food hamburger and it's not even close. I typically get the double, with cut up jalepenos on it. And yes i've had in and out burgers, Whataburgers are better.

Oh man dead on with the Big Mac. When it's prepared right and you're craving one it may be one of the greatest things ever. I've consistantly gotten real good ones in the nice parts of NYC, and had an amazing one last weekend at like 4in the morning.

Though you can't beat white castle, I don't reccomend it drunk at all. Nothing is worse than puking out 8 mini hamburgers on the highway. Ok too much info

I think you have a problem with food, mmkay?

Most of the time, obsessive behavior and compulsive thinking about food have nothing to do with food. They have everything to do with your self-image. It's just that the battlefield you've chosen is food. It's where you've chosen to exercise tight control in hopes that none of your underlying fears and emotions will creep up on you.

People often use food as a control mechanism. Having an obsession with food and controlling your intake of it can be a substitute for having command over what you really want to control: how you feel about yourself.

Understand that ending obsessive behavior with food sometimes isn't the answer to the problem because it doesn't deal with the root of the problem: internal dialogue that says you're a bad person if you don't weigh a certain amount. You need to change your internal dialogue.

I recommend you read my books The Ultimate Weight Solution: The Seven Keys to Weight Loss Freedom, and the New York Times bestseller The Ultimate Weight Solution Coookbook: Recipes For Weight Loss Freedom, as well as The Ultimate Weight Solution Food Guide. My books have been published in 37 languages with over 22 million copies in print.

You should also log on to my website Dr. Phil.com (http://www.drphil.com/) and click advice, then weight.

I also have a nationally syndicated TV show, and I'm on Oprah.

You should also join my Weight Loss Booty Camp. You'll get this cool T-shirt. (https://drphil.en-ovations.net/dmultisize8.cfm?productid=585&&CFID=3550556&CFTOKE N=24299256)

I've eaten a live grasshopper (I was 8, it made em $7) and white castle is far far more disgusting. If I was starving, and all that existed was white castle i'm not sure what i'd do. No hyperbole, no exaggeration. White castle is the worst food on the planet.

To the OP, teh answer if you live in seattle is clearly Dick's. If you don't live in seattle I prefer a western bacon cheeseburger from Carl's Jr./Hardees.
