Unless SB is idiot he has flopped 2 pair or has K/Q. Small pot may call for a turn fold. Your getting 8.5:1 and I think your behind.

Ouch. I guess you can hope for K worse kicker but I think he has two's or some other set. Maybe two pair.

However if I'm new to a table I pay this off. I probably call too much in bad spots.

With no reads, I play this exactly the same. I want to 3-bet the flop c/r because I do like my kicker and I want to get gutshots & the like out of there. I want to call down after the flop cap because I'm not convinced SB isn't overplaying a weaker K.

With the read you eventually got on SB, I call the flop c/r & fold UI on the turn.

It looks bad but I usually fold the turn here, especially if I'm not tilting. The 3 bet on the flop was the right play.

Thanks guys. I'm kind of leaning towards the check/fold on the turn. Before I sat down, I watched a few hands and didnt pick out any ultra agressive post flop players, so I had a very stong feeling I was beat when I entered the pot with Villan. I knew villan wasnt a crazy-ass, but I didnt know anything else... so I still had very little info nevertheless.
