I am looking to buy a watch and have a budget of $750 - $1000. I would appreciate some recommendations weighted toward value, reliability, and appearance - in that order. Feel welcome to post pictures of links to help me. Thanks in advance for your help.

Do we have a new watch thread every two weeks?

Sorry. I don't check out OTT very often and have never seen a thread on this before. Feel welcome to delete it. I will continue searching without any help from this forum.

Next time you come this way remember to call it OOT and not OTT. It isn't 'other topic topics'.

No idea. I'm not a watch guy. I own two watches, both cheap and at least water resistant. One's a Wenger and the other is one of those Ironman watches. They're both o.k. but nothing special to recommend them.

Toward the upper end of your price range, Concord makes some sharp watches. La Scala, Saratoga...Price depends on where you are buying them though.

Obviously Tag is a very popular brand in your price range, but I'm not a big fan personally.

Well, the Olsen Twins watch is over, and I think the Hilary Duff watch is over too, so now most people seem to be concentrated on the Lindsey Lohan anorexia watch. That's the one I've got my eye on. I guess in a couple of years it will be time for the Hermione watch, but I really don't want to think about that right now.

I wear a Tag Heuer similar to this web page (http://www.tagheuer.com/watches/detail.lbl?watch=CJ1112.BA0576&search=d:30;F:0;T:5 ;C:d;)

I think they are a great watch and they have many styles to choose from.
