A hand I sweat

I am sweating a very good player (VGP) in a live 30/60 game here. The SB is another very good player (AVGP). I know nothing of BB.

VGP opens UTG with A /images/graemlins/club.gifA /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, folds to blinds who call.

Flop (3 players): 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif9 /images/graemlins/heart.gifT /images/graemlins/club.gif

AVGP checks, BB bets, VGP raises, AVGP cold-calls, BB calls.

Turn: 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

AVGP DONKDONKDONK bets, BB folds, VGP thinks and thinks and ..........

weird hand and weird line by the good player. it seems pretty clear that he has a monster hand, but if he is a good player playing against another good player then this should be a weaker hand often as well.

if i was utg id call down unless i had a strong read in which case id even consider folding.

I raise because AVGP might be scaring me with an OESD or two pair... if I get 3-bet I call down. If I get called I will call a bet (or bet the river and call a raise).

yeah this really likely to be a monster here. AVGP is trying to make damn sure he doesnt blow anyone out of this pot.

That said this has an outside chance of being JTs, but I think this hand likely 3 bets the flop.

OK...IMO it's the turn play that makes this hand really weird...I knew I had the positions right....meh
