Man Ive been having a bitch of a time playing on PP tournaments single table. Usually run out of chips or get knocked out some schmo with a crap hand. Blinds just nail me.

Now I find poker stars with 1500 starting chips and 10 min rounds. I can get bad beat 2-3 times and stil make the money, ahhhhhhhhh.

Yes it does and here it is.

If you play tournaments at Party Poker and/or affiliates, go to Poker Stars. They tournaments are better suited for skill over luck.

Single table
$33 Tournament at Party
800 chips, Blinds 10/20, goes up every 9 hands, 10 players, pays 3 spots.

$33 Tournament at Poker Stars
1500 chips, Blinds 10/20, goes up every 10 minutes, 9 players, pays 3 spots.

There ya god damn happy now?

I think it was obvious by the 1st post.

Sigh, this has been discussed thousands of times.. simply put party poker tournaments are better for $/hr.. if all you care about is winning then fine.

Guess what? The best push/fold bots anywhere can really rape a Party structure, and you can't do that with a Stars one.

Which leads me to wonder if someone who can't outperform a push/fold bot can truly beat a more skill-oriented game

Party does take some skills to beat, just a different set of skills. You can't play "solid" poker, you have to keep poooooooooooooshing.

How long do the STT's take on stars? I like fast STTs. VOLUME! VOLUME! VOLUME!

Maybe if I ever go to 4 monitors I can throw PS and UB on two, UB STT's are pretty slow, too.
