Help me out guys! Foxwoods, 2/4. Just sat down so no reads (maybe 3rd hand). Dealt Rockets, 2nd to act.

One caller, I raise. As usual, about 5 people call and see the flop.

966 (two clubs)

Checked to me, I bet, get about 4 callers.

Turn - Q spades (still only the club draw on the board - I do Not have the Ace of clubs)

Checked to me, I bet, get 3 callers.

River - 7 clubs

The SB leads out, the guy to my immediate right raises to $8. The Pot is about 14 BB (give or take) at this point and it costs 2 to call without knowing what the action will be behind me.

What do I do with my rockets? And tell me why.

I would fold.

The possibility that SB and the next guy both have 97 and like their 3-pair seems like a lot to hope for.

I realize there are other possibilities as well, but I think at least one of them has a straight, a flush, or even trips, in this protected pot.

This will be truely unhelpful....

Fold, Because your beat.

I don't play live and I have never played Foxwoods, but I cannot imagine you're good here even 10% of the time (especially since I so often see the regular live players that post here indicate how much stronger an unexpected bet and raise means in live play).

I folded. The SB called. The guy to my right had QT for a pair of queens and took the pot.

Oh well.

I'm not sure how it is at most other casinos, but at the local casino in my town, the players are worse than the 50c/$1 players at Party. Typically, unless you have a really good read on the person ( like they check raise the river with A high ), they have the flush or a crappy two pair.

You are beat, fold.
