I'm not sure why you're keeping track, or what you're wanting to keep track of.

If you're keeping track of the hours played and result for the session, this info is useful. You can calculate your standard deviation if you keep good enough records. MM has an essay on this site with the formulas, and it's also in his theory book. You can do the necessary math with excel, but I don't have a spreadsheet ready to mail you. Stat-king is an ok program, at least it was "ok" (but not great) when I took a look at it three years ago.

I'm interested in tracking my results in Excel as well, if anyone has one ready I'd appreciate it. I have begun putting together an XLS, with separate worksheets for:
- Summary
- Online
- Home
- Club
- Casino

I'm basically tracking the date, hours played, limit, # of tables played (if online), and net gain or loss. This won't tell me a ton of info, but it's a start.

Does anyone have any other advice for info I should be tracking?

Have an excel spreadsheet that calculates win rate and standard deviation. I plan to add a little more to it, but it works well for me now. Email me if you want me to send it to you: ninthyaga@hotmail.com

Something to add, may or may not be helpful. I read an article a while back about keeping track of wins vs. blinds posted. Statistically, you are entitled to 1/9 or 1/10 hands depending on where you play, so if you post a big blind 25 times in one session, in theory you should win about 25 hands. This will not tell you how you play your good or bad hands, but I have found it good to quantify on paper after that session has gone, if you were getting your 'fair share' that day or if your cards were 'running cold'.

Great tool!! I will start using it.I noticed however, that it can only keep track of #hrs in integers, (i.e. youcan't enter 5.5hrs). Any way around that>?
