Mid trip report? - well, since I'm getting my joneses in the i-net cafe, why not? - (screw booze, it's the internet I'm addicted to)

I'm currently typing this in an Internet Cafe on Bleeker St. in NYC - waiting for the sun to move a bit so there's shade again -

Had a great time with Luv2DriveTT and NJChick so far - I spent most of my time at one room with guys like Wayfare, MaxPower, but I left that table quickly and went to 1/2 NL -
first night - up 80 bucks - you would THINK having cracked a guy's KK twice (once with AK, once with AJ on the river) that I'd be WAY up /images/graemlins/grin.gif -

second night, checked out another place with NJChick, but went back to the first - blew $100 in a tourney, and then proceeded to pick up about $540 in another 1/2 NL game -

Gawd, I love NL - I am too tight playing NL tourneys, but the NL ring games are perfect for my style - just wait for the over aggressive player to push and bust his ass...

as usual, it came down to one hand - limp in with KQ offsuit - flop comes QQ9 - I bet/call something, opponent goes all in, and I call - he has Q3, and then I have $300 more bucks then I used to have....

the NYC portion of the trip is almost done - a couple hrs. in Washington Square Park, probably - and just relaxing - We're going to AC tonight and we'll be there till Sun, at which time I come back and fly out of Newark on Sun. afternoon...

been a great time - (loved Wayfare's apt....Jesus - I think I'd just sleep/live on the balcony 24/7) - and any in NYC, look for the guy who looks like a poor man's Russell Crowe...

Gotham was fantastic -

Boardwalk country was terrible to me - took all of Gotham's money the first night in 1/2 NL - twice I flopped set UNDER set - (the first time I turned a boat only to have him turn quads) - but I think it was good to Maxpower and Luv2DriveTT

on the other hand, I did finally after 32 years get to see the Atlantic Ocean...

I joked with TT that if it had been an online casino, there's a good chance I WOULD think it was rigged and quit...LOL -

as it is, I just think the Mob runs the Tropicana...LOL

in spots like this, I get bummed, but I can easily see the bright side of this as opposed to the 2 outer that takes me down - I was just dominated handwise this time around.
