View Full Version : What are "smaller" tourneys like at WSOP?

I use the term "smaller" in a relative sense. I am going to be in Vegas during the WSOP, specifically the $1500 Limit HE buy-in. I was considering playing in it just as a goof and to say I "played in the series". I'm probably one of the C player mooks whiskeytown is talking about (ok, maybe a bit better than that /forums/images/icons/smile.gif but I don't have a realistic expectation of doing stupendously well).

Was just wondering what the circumstances of these lower tourneys are. How many players usually go in? Is is a 1, 2, 3 day event? Do you sign up in advance or when you get there? Any info on this particular tourney would be greatly appreciated.
