You knew this was coming, but...

How many hands? Also be sure to look through the data for outliers and irregularities. I know the monster pot you dragged with AKs on a runner runner flush looks nice (and, indeed, is part of the value of the hand), but over a relatively small sample size (less than 100k?) I think its useful to exclude those types of hands.

To me, the added value of the big suited hands is that you can play TPTK type hands much stronger when you have a backdoor flush or a flush draw to go with them. When you might fold TPTK to a turn checkraise, you now push back because you have a flush draw as well, etc.

FYI, I have 27k hands over which (wihtout filtering as I recommended):

AKs 1.4bb/hand vs AKo 1.78bb/hand
AQs 1.23bb/hand vs AQo 0.45bb/hand

Does firing again on the turn depend on reads, or draw heavy boards, or both or neither?

If you fire on the turn, and the draws don't get there on the river, do you check behind? Or do you fire one last shot to fold out people who were drawing but also had bottom pair?
