Hero pushes the flop.

If you're reraising the flop, I think you pretty much have to call the turn. I might just flat call the flop raise, and bet a safe turn.

How did you get to the turn without getting the money all-in? You should have pushed over the raise on the flop. I think you maybe still get called but at least you don't throw up. heh.

well at this point I would probably fold, but wow its really bad not to push the flop here.

On the turn, I vomit and call because I've already committed half my stack. I would have pushed the flop and then vomited when someone calls and hits his flush/fills out/finds some new innovative way to suck out anyway.

Miniraise = bad. Push flop = good!

why the MRR with that many people in and the flush draw?

Ok, I agree I was completely and stupidly greedy in this hand. I folded (I'm a coward, but I'm a greeeeeedy coward).

So, there was no flush, there was not even a heart among my opponents.

UTG+1 had K/images/graemlins/club.gif9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (he called, obviously, and obviously I would have stacked him had I pushed the flop)
UTG+2 had Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (/boggle)

And I threw up again. (also, technically, it is more than a mini raise since I could raise only 115)

So far tonight, I have played 19 50+5's
I have EIGHT count them EIGHT thirds, one second and one first. And I am finishing the last. 8 thirds is a lot better than 8 forths but still feels pretty crappy. I feel like I have been leaving a fortune on the table the past week.

This has been my hand of shame for the night.

With a flush draw on the flop and against loose/aggressive opponents just push it next time. I think you need to call the turn if you don't, just based on the pot odds.

I wouldn't kick yourself over it, though. 8 3rds, 1 1st and 1 2nd aren't bad results at all.

My first 20 55s resulted in 2 3rds and 1 1st.

The thing is, after the raise and call, I'm generally quite confident that I can push right now and almost always get a caller. So I think pushing is probably almost as good on that front as well and doesn't get you in trouble when the heart comes. EDIT: In other words, I think a flush draw is probably more likely to pay you off here than to pay you off on a blank turn.

Yeah, emphasis on the stupid part. The greedy part was wanting to stack both of them so I tried to get them both pot comitted.

I think you've got to bet harder when you've got the nuts and some likely customers -- especially if you're going to play like Captain Vagina McGinastein when you don't have the nuts anymore.
