I'm playign the 3/6 6max on party and was just curious, what kind of stats do you guys look for before sitting down? Like how high VPIP, etc.

I look for a chook to my immediate right and not four rocks at the remaining seats. Table selection at 3/6 is good, but not great, so I highly recommend keeping a buddy list.

I'm trying to work on that, havent been there long enough to have more than a small handful of "buddys." Where in Ohio are you from?

Anything over 40 VPIP usually is good. When it drops into the mid 30's it's not worth playing unless it's that way because you've got a couple really loose players and the rest TAGs, in which case the TAGs more or less take turns with the fishies.

Tables with everyone at 35 VPIP are tough, especially if they're aggressive. Yea, they're loose, but not really loose, and the variance is huge when squeezing money out of that kind of table.
