2 hours for a generally unimportant event may be a good sign because watching a full final table in an hour is just an all-in after all-in, this actually has some hands to show.

I just watched the replay. All you guys who are jumping all over Jean-Robert or whatever really need to relax. The guy is obviously just another goober getting TV time and playing himself up. I found almost all of his stuff just comical. A couple of those guys just totally played it right into his hands by trying to make witty comebacks that went nowhere. Either be Phil Ivey and just stare into space or be Jen Harman and laugh it off and/or come up with something funnier. He also made a couple of very good reads and then promptly blew it at the end.

Also, no mention of Lee sucking out a miracle ten on the river? I guess everyone saw it coming as it was like 2 minutes til the top of the hour. Was it just me, or did that guy look like he was going to hyperventilate whenever he was all-in?

Matthias Andersson eliminated in 8th by Greg Raymer.
Hand #7, Harrington's button. Andersson moves all in from under the gun for $670,000, and Raymer calls. Andersson has Ad Ks, Raymer has As 10d. The board comes Qc 7c 9h Js 8s. The eight spikes on the river, giving Raymer a straight. Raymer immediately jumps up and yells, "DAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!".

ESPN and Harrah's are trying to cash off on the WSOP by holding $10,000 NLH events in (I think) Vegas, Atlantic City, San Diego, New Orleans, and Lake Tahoe. Basically, it's a mini-WPT with the WSOP name slapped on.

That's definitely not what Harrah's is intending. I'm sure they expect the tournaments to eventually be bigger than the WPT.

However, the WPT very wisely have locked up certain casinos. I believe places like the Bellagio, Commerce, and Foxwoods can't hold TV tournaments which would be aired by anybody but the WPT.
