I figured I wouldn't get a few hands to fold if I just lead out, and I'd want to protect myself if I got pot-reraised against bottom set. UTG's bet is weak, and he took awhile before calling after my potraise. It seems unlikely to me, even though the play is bad, he'd bet the flop with something like TP and a gutshot, only hands that might make sense would be AKJT, 44JT, and maybe A4JT, pretty specific hands, though I'd imagine 44JT is reraising the flop.

I think it was good, primarily because of of the fold equity. You also have plenty of outs if you get called/raised.
