I've been playing online poker since before there were SNG tournies. When they were first introduced at Paradise(Party didn't exist and Paradise was by far the biggest site with almost 2000 players) I made a killing. But living in Vegas where your chosen means of self-destruction are available 24/7 took it's toll on me. After several job changes, a divorce and a list of vices too long to mention, I found myself in poker hell. Cruising the internet looking for a freeroll in need of a fix. I had a $14 bankroll on Party and was playing the $1 and $2 MTT. I then discovered this forum. I had long ago given up on the SNGs because I didn't have a real feel for the variance involved and they seemed to have improved. I can't really explain how easy the Paradise SNG's used to be. But I can remember many times being in the money at a $50+5 having never played a hand.

This forum has helped me concretely understand things that I knew intuitivly but did not fully grasp. The advice and discussions on this forum have been outstanding. Hood's SNG Tracker has been a tremendous tool.

So, I started my new SNG career(don't worry I have a job) 25 days ago with $14 at the Party $5+1. I have now completed my first 508 tournies.
