Wrong time to do this. First you are calling off 1/6th of your stack...this is bad. You must move allin here, especially with all the dead money. Calling is a very clear mistake in my view. I recommend flat calling SOMETIMES when the call is less than 10% of your stack....this is just too high a percentage to flat call. You can no longer be subtle.

So, two limpers + a minraise + blinds = t550 in the pot. You've got AK with t1345 behind.

Easy shove.

There is no straight and no flush on the board, if you weren't hoping for an A or K why play the hand? You got your PERFECT flop and folded?

You have to respect 2 all ins in front of you. Here at best you are against KQ and a flush draw. At worst you are facing a set and a flush draw. Probably still have to call given the odds in a 6.50 and hope you are facing a couple of donkeys.

My goal with AK is to flop TPTK and get someone all-in with me - and if they open push, all the better. ymmv

the first all in i was excited about, the second i was like wtf...maybe i'm giving people too much credit but at best i was up against a flush draw and a weaker king, at worst i was up against a set and a flush draw, which i'm a big dog.

Does TPTK really look that good to you guys staring at 2 all ins????

Forget postflop, by far the most important part of this hand is the preflop play. It's a clear allin.

I push preflop 100% of the time.
