Anybody know of one? It doesn't have to be great, just fairly workable and able to do the things you can't in Paint.

Only in the same way money is free if you rob a bank. GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) is the only fully-featured free one I know of.

Jasc's Paintshop Pro can do quite a bit. It's free to try, and I think I paid $99 for a full version with support and updates to next full version or something like that. Then after my initial update ran out they offered me an upgrade to Version 9 for cheap. I love the program and it does a ton, but I'm not sure what it lacks as compared to Photoshop.
