First hand of a party $11. Is it worth calling this early in a tournament? Would it change any if this were level 3 or 4 (assuming neither of us are short stacked)?

Calls, immediately. The times you get shown down Jacks/draws are way too high here.

Hmmm...if this guy decided preflop it was a good idea to just call with AA or KK (I doubt), or a set (more possible) you have to pay him off here. My bet is that he has a flush draw, if not an ugly, tragic two pair. But yeah, I like the preflop raise, I like the flop lead, and I think he's on a wide enough range of made/unmade hands (AJ, KJ, a set vs. flush) to make calling correct.

This guy is almost certainly on an ace or kigh high flush draw, and is trying to get you out of the pot. A typical play on an $11 table. Call immediately and hope you don't lose the 3-1 hand.
