Let me share from here (http://www.defrancostraining.com/articles/archive/articles_t-mag_promaker.htm):

T-Nation: ...Let's get back to iron. What do you think of the leg press machine for athletes?

JD: The leg press machine and the word "athlete" shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same sentence! The leg press is a waste of time for athletes. With all of the squat and deadlift variations out there, I can’t see why any athlete would even look at a leg press. Yet, it’s still one of the most popular pieces of equipment in the gym, but when I see an athlete on the leg press machine, I automatically think he's a lazy athlete.

I never claimed to be an athlete. FWIW, I don't regularly leg-press but my shoulders are a little burned and the thought of a bar across my shoulders made me want to cry so varied my leg workout.

Edit: didn't see that I was pwned by your previous post....please expain my pwning.

Mostly just playin' with you, but glad to hear you're not making a habit of leg pressing. Wouldn't want you to waste any precious gym time with a sub-par movement. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
