Probably. 9:1 is not very good considering that this is not a ring game and you probably have less outs than you think you do.

With two overcards and a gutshot, I raise the flop and see what happens from there. Find out where you are at. Min-betting usually is a "blocking bet" or someone betting their draw (essentially both the same thing).

A large re-raise is usually enough to get them out. If they do call your re-raise, you have 10 outs (if you count your overcards) on the river to make possibly the best hand.

HOH2 speaks a lot about this.

Obviously you gotta fold if he comes over the top on the flop.
