His play smells of missed flushdraw. Sucks if he has QJ though.

I usually don't like to gamble for all my chips in level 1 without a hand.

Do you think your hand is good on the river? I muck that river, but I think calling is better than raising.

What better hands fold? No worse hands call.

He's getting a little better than 3:1 on his money if he calls your all in bet - i think he makes a mistake by not calling you here with almost anything. i don't think you have much folding equity either on that raise.

but i don't see a much better alternative to this point, and i like raising much better than calling, but not sure between raising/folding.

OK, here goes the commented version of the hand. I want to know if it makes sense to you or not.

Villain limp/calls PF behind one limper. My hand range for him is something like 22 - TT, maybe JJ, AJ, ATs. KQs and QJs are also a possibility, but I hold one K and QJs is not calling in that spot very often.

Villain is probably putting me on JJ - AA, AK, AQ.

Flop: (t325) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets t200, CO calls t200.

With a backdoor flush draw, a gutshot and two overs, I think the continuation bet is pretty much OK. The guy only calls it. If I'm right about the range, he's not calling with an awful lot of hands. In fact, I'd only expect him to call with AT, QJ, a flush draw or an OESD.

Turn: (t725) T/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
CO checks, Hero checks.

I checked behind because I didn't want to give him a bluffing opportunity, and this probably entices him to take a shot at stealing the pot on the river. It also saves me from losing chips if he has a hand like AT, TT or 33.

River: (t725) 6/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
CO bets t200, Hero raises to t590 (All-In), CO folds.

OK, moment of truth. River is a brick. If this guy has TT, AT or 33, he's probably going for a check-raise, hoping that I have AQ, KK or AA. Even if he was to make a value bet here, I don't think it'd be so small. QJ probably check/calls, KQ is probably throwing a blocking bet that wouldn't be so small. The 200 bet has "steal" written all over it. That's why I pushed. I'd check behind if he had checked, and I wouldn't have called a larger bet.

I don't like putting my whole stack on the line with A-high in level 2, but I was 90% sure that his bet was a complete bluff. Does it make sense to you?

On the river what does he fold your raise?

What does he call with that you beat? No need to raise. If he has you beat, you still have 390 chips.

Yeah, I guess you have a point there. He's not calling my push with a hand I have beat, that's for sure.

Edit: There's always the possibility of him having a hand like 88 or 99 and calling the flop just to see if I fire a second barrel, and against those hands my push is actually useful.
