I thought there was some strange play. Very passive in general, and a couple of guys let themselves basically get blinded out... Any other thoughts?

Looked like a lot of scared weak/tight play, which surprised me when you consider that all these people had to win huge freerolls to get there.

We must not forget that a good % of these people have never seen a real poker room.......kinda wierd if its your frist time in a casino. I remember my frist trip, walked in the side door at the Gold Strike (poker room was still down staris then) skipped over to the the floorperson and got thrown out by security. All this in less then two min. I thought my fake ID was perfect, guess not. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

The play on these shows is bad. If people want to produce poker TV shows, they should get good players playing for a lot of money.

I agree with augie...

Watching the UB TV show is sickening to me. All of the players look scared and nervous, and they have NO poker faces whatsoever. A couple of the players seem decent at best, but it is not very entertaining play. Some of the tells these players give off make it so easy to guess their hand even if the cards weren't on the side of the screen.

Cross Posted:I think that based on WSOP results, B&M players will consistantly out perform internet players over the long run.

The above statement is a starting point to get some dialouge going.Comments please

I started this thread earlier today and here is a great example
