I live in Denver, where it almost never gets hot and humid. A co-worker of mine told me a story that he took a trip to Missouri in the summer when his son was about 6 years old. After getting out of the car at gas stop is son said to him, "Dad, what's wrong with the air?".

So does more than a week of 115 degree days.

Last night it was over 100 until about 3:30am.

Yeah its been horrible for the last week+ here. (in MN) At least its a bit cooler today. Saturday if you stepped outside you'd instantly feel sticky. Wasn't much better when I went golfing yesterday...

No kidding. Once it gets over 110 or so it's miserable, regardless of humidity.

I agree. Tennessee is quite humid, but I would take that over the 115+ weather I endured in Vegas last week.

I think Raleigh, NC and Baltimore basically have the same weather for a few days. Our 5 day forecast: 94-96 and very humid.

I don't do the suit to work, but 96 + humid + black car with black (leather) interior = no fun.

Having lived in Texas most my life, I use to curse the humidity and the heat. But, I moved to Boulder, CO for a few years where it is very dry and I started missing the humidity.

Low humidity makes you feel thirsty all the time, dries your skin, and ages you faster. There are advantages to high humidity.

This is why I keep vampire hours. And the electric bill in summer for my 1BR apartment is like $130/mo.
