What is the correct play on the turn? The third club hits and A-Q or A-J (two likely holdings) have me dominated. This is a $22 Sit N Go on Ultimate Bet, no reads. By the way, there are only two players in on the flop even though the converter made it say three. Thanks for the input in advance.

push.

the turn card could scare him as easily as you. his tourney rides on this decision. if he does call, you could be ahead, or have as many as 15 outs (and still 1500 chips).

that's a pretty big overbet. what hand that's behind do you think is going to call?

Not a huge fan of the push. Obviously after the flop, you can rule out mid PP as his holdings. What are you still ahead of here? Think of the range of hands that he is likely playing. (Not saying that your aren't ahead but it is entirely possible that you're not.) A blocking type bet of 350 or so will let you know where you're at. I don't think you need to push. Bet and evaluate after he acts.

this is a pretty tough hand. i'm really not sure what to make of it.

i think i check/call the turn and check/fold the river if unimproved. ugh. i think your hand turned into a draw as soon as that turn card hit.

You nailed it. The guy had K-10 and hit his gutshot. The more I think about it, I probably should just check call the turn and dump it if my hand doesn't improve on the river.

Thanks for the replies.

I make a continuation bet (200ish) on the turn and lay down against a raise.

If checked to the river and unimproved I make another one and lay it down against the all-in. It looks as if I have the flush and try to extract some more money.

Why? It's the 22s. Villian knows I have some sort of a hand and it might be a monster. So he will not bluff. If he goes all-in he should have the flush or at least the straight.
