This poker bot myth is spinning out of control.

I have said this before, but im 99% sure there is at least one bot beating 100 200 fixed headsup game online(Fold at ladbrokes) Also I would say it's highly unllikely thats the only bot beating bigger games.

Why do you suspect it is a bot?

I'm suprised there hasn't been more of an influx of NL bots since publication of Ed Miller's book. Even I could write the back end of this, although I wouldnt have a clue how to interact with the poker site.

First many of the best fixed limit players on ladbrokes(including guys like Erik123) say it's a bot. Who have played it in past.

Second when it started out last year it used to play 20hours straight every day 10/20 headsup.

It never takes breaks/says anything.

Always takes exactly the same time before acting, I think this is little weird because if you are clever enough to make bot beating 100 200 game you could prolly make it little less obvious...

Maybe if he is that good that he has decided to eliminate any timing tells, and uses the bot-like behaviour to affect the psychology of his opponents?

After all, the HU bots produced by the research time behind Poki were pretty good, but still flawed. The pseudo-optimal bot is pretty easy for any decent HU player. The bot that characterises opponents is (reportedly) awesome, but takes thousands of hands to characterise opponents. Not good online.

If there is a HU bot better than this, it most be some seriously clever people behind it. Clever enough to make it appear non-bot like, surely?

I can't explain the 20hrs a day thing, so I stand to be corrected....
