I have only played a couple of tournaments so take this for what its worth:

I think you made the right play. at 2K/4K, the UTG+2 player has enough for the blinds and thats about all. The SB has him well covered and doesn't want you in, hence the all in. IF UTG loses, you gain an instant $110 in REAL$, and you still have position on the SB. If he wins, both stacks are now smaller than yours and you are in OK position. BTW the three of you account for roughly 60% of the chips at the table so there HAVE to be a number of small stacks out there. Wait a couple of hands for better position and attack them, not the big stack (yet).

Good Play. hope you cashed well!

I thought small pair or two high cards for first all in and weak ace or small for pair 2nd all in. Didn't want to play 50/50 or less thought I was better player. Turned out first all in K8o and second all in KJo. kj won with high card. I finished 3rd in tournament. kj player placed first. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif thanks for the response mark.
ps after the tourney a guy asked when i told i folded ak if i often tripped on my skirt.
