what's so ugly? looks like a standard fold to me w/ your chip stack. even tho button is relatively short stacked, it still is a significant raise to your BB.

i wanted to say auto fold. What does the ICM say. I think you should fold and push right back at villian when he is in BB or put him all in. 4 People usually dont get this far unless they are playing too tight.

I'm getting like 2.5:1 to call here and his range is going to be extremely wide

Close one, but I would fold this.
You are slightly +ev if you assume your opponent will push with top 25%. But if you lose, you will be in bad shape.
However, if your opponent is the type who would push with any two here, I'd prolly call because of the pot odds (2.3 vs 1.6 against any hand).

my math is bad. how do you get 2.5-1?

My pokerstove gives me something like 2-1. I think think this play has some profit but i dont think its by much. If you fold short stack will have 2300 or so chips which will make him short stacked again.

yah I mucked, but as I was checking over my HH I saw this and figured it could be a call by a very slim margin.
