Another trout (jacki) and I plan on playing at Oneida Bingo and Casino next Sunday and Monday, with our 'mini-trip' to conclude with Monday night's $35+R tournament.

Couple of things:

- Anyone planning on playing at Oneida next Sunday or Monday?
- Has anyone played in the Monday/Wednesday night tournaments there and, if you have, what can we expect in terms of competition and structure?

Hope to see some of you there next weekend, and I'd love to hear from anyone who has played in their tournaments.

Take care,

- yoadrians

Also, has anyone played in the NL cash game?

It's 2-5 blinds, with a $100 minimum and $100 max buyin.
But if you drop $1 below $100, you can add another $100 to the stack.

I play there a couple times per week, but I'm not planning on playing there this weekend (that I know of).

AFAIK, the tournaments start you out with 1500 chips (1800 if you tip the dealers $5 before the start), and the blind start out at 25/50 and double every 15 minutes. I've never played in it because I think the structure stinks, but I do know that you need their player's card in order to register for it. If you can manage to find some cards before the blinds eat you alive you should be able to do pretty well. I believe they pay out the final table if there are more than 6-7 tables going.

As for the no limit games, they're about as soft as anywhere else. The only problem is that the rake is 10% with a max of $5, and it rounds up. So if the pot is $11, they drop $2, if it's $31 they drop $4, etc.

If you're looking to play limit, it's not usually worth going there. The usual game is 3-6, with 4-8 going once in a while. If you want to play limit, your best bet is to drive 30-40 minutes to Menominee Casino.
