I have come to an end of posting on OOT and 2+2 for good. This will be post 1412. Yes the 2+2 homosexual is gone for good. Clap you hands, jump for joy, SIIHP, I don't care.

Unlike some people who leave and then come back this will be the last post I put on here.

There are very few people that I even remotely give a sh|t about, and I am sure that the feeling is mutual with regards to me as well.

Having said that, I wish all of you the best that life has to offer.

I laid into steve in that thread, then I also gave him some good advice later on. The fact is Steve is a drama queen. Truth is like surgery it hurts but it cures. The 2+2 you want would be fake and lack honesty. Reporting my violin image (and countless other threads) to the moderators only proves that. This is america, home of the land of free speach. People like you want to limit what we can and can not say. The earlier people like you either:

Big Steve added a needed woman's touch around here, except he was a big fat man. I really liked the guy, he shook the tree and it needed to be shaken. His shtick didn't get tired, its those who didn't get him for the humor in his posts or for those who were bothered by him opening the minds of others. He made a thread, and I'm too lazy to find a link for it, regarding something like leaving out the gay content for a year, or putting money on it or something. Add the fact that he didn't go a week, and that he started and entire thread devoted to his new avatar (most recently), I can see how people got annoyed.

In a nutshell:
Steve got harassed and decided to leave.
Basically anyone who has a big mouth and is not wacki-esque, (ie, white, young, nerdy, male, heterosexual) will get harassed on OOT.

So, women, gay men, etc... they tend to get annoyed at the idiots in OOT and report them to the mods and/or quit OOT.

I post on a lot of online forums and NONE of them even come close to the vulgar harassment that OOT does. Luckily, it pretty much stays in OOT and doesn't pollute the rest of 2+2, but sometimes it does spill over and that's unfortunate.

Wacki's argument is basically this:
OOT is like the Spice channel and if you're offended just leave. Problem is, it's not like the Spice channel. It's on the world wide web - a place where children regularly visit, a place where restrictive foreign laws may apply, a place with a set standard rules of conduct (http://www.twoplustwo.com/terms.html).

I agree that OOT is the dregs, but bringing in the old "think of the children" ploy is way off base. The net got as big as it did because of porno. It's crawling with every kind of adult-oriented material. It's never been appropriate for unsupervised children. With any luck, it never will be.

I certainly can't see how or why restrictive foreign laws that may or may not exist should apply to OOT. That one seems similarly way, way off base.

I have to admit that dream date/steak post was one of the lamer ones I've seen lately, although the particular brand of lameness did fit perfectly with the OOT's particular brand of stupidness. Steve's attitude didn't do him any favors on that one, either. I think it undid a lot of my good impressions of the guy.

As for those that wanted to know how I am doing, I have locking leg brace that I can walk on with a walker. I am a trooper and have yet to miss a day of work since the accident.
