You're not allowed to post here and say McDonalds breakfast is crap; it is glorious and wonderful and should be served all day.

I just got a Steak Egg and Cheese bagel and a large coffee.

What do you get there?

sausage biscuit, hash brown and orange juice every single time.

you go to the best breakfast place and the world and get the bagel sandwich? sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin is clearly the best thing on the menu, and an extra hash brown never hurt anybody.

You know-- I've always wondered why it is not served all day. You always hear about people saying they want it all day long, yet McDonald's with its endless marketing and research division has never gave us the holy grail--- All day breakfast.

This is absolutely disgusting. Too sweet, too buttery and it'll make you feel like throwing up afterward. I deviate between the sausage/egg/cheese biscuit and the steak/egg/cheese bagel, depending on my mood.

Also, McDonald's hashbrowns are THE best hashbrowns I've ever tasted in my life.

I just want to say I love all of you guys.

Oh crap, ya know I gave up on the bisquits a long time ago. Maybe in another three months when I wake up before 11 on a weekend.

Disgusting? Hmm. It has it's merits. It's by far the worst thing to get but; saying anything on the breakfast menu is disgusting is like calling a type of pizza bad, or referring to a bad blowjob.

FWIW - they're handing out free Fruit and Walnut Salad for you West Coasters who can still beat the clock.

Breakfast burito ($1 each).
They used to have 3 pancakes for a dollar (no meat). I would buy $8 worth, and share them in employee cafeteria.

Roy Rogers used to have a sourdough breakfast sandwich that was good.

White Castle has a White castle hamburger + egg + bacon for $1.

Also, the ice cream sundaes there are amazing but they don't go with breakfast I think.

Steak and egg bagel, orange juice.

I got this by accident once and was horrified until the aroma hit me and I couldn't resist trying it. Anyone who hasn't tried the bagel is definitely missing something in their life.

1 - Bacon & Egg McMuffin
1- Bacon & Egg Bagel

Make it 2 mcmuffins and a bagel if I was drinking the night before.

Subtract the bagel for a mcmuffin if my belly is hanging over my belt (20 grams less fat in the mcmuffin, the bagel has more fat than a Big Mac)

Woodguy

1. I'm not on a diet per se---I just want to keep up with eating healthy most of the time and am way too lazy to cook good food. As long as I am good 5 days a week, I'll drop the weight I want in a few months. It's just the prolonged periods of laziness and sloth that [censored] me up.

2. Zone Chefs is as many days as you want
I do 5 days a week m-f.

3. Mens Health advocates a cheat day. People who eat twice as many calories as normal one a day a week increase their metabolism in subsequent days.

4. Total caloric intake was less then 600 calories.

5. IndieFatty was very funny; so was the 72 comment from KKF.

6. El D--nice way to casually drop you were out with two girls--Sirenfest was pretty good, lots of people watching and booze. Ambulance LTD were great, Spoon too. Real Coney Island Nathans was the highlite. Ended up at a backyard party in Brooklyn getting into all sorts of trouble.

Funny this thread came up- I have been religiously avoiding fast food for the past few months, and haven't been to McDonald's (even though there is in one less than a block from my office) for a LONG time. Saturday morning, I got up, hit Starbucks, and was craving a breakfast burrito. I was on a time budget and there was no place decent close, so ended up at the McD's drive-thru. Sausage McMuffin with egg, 2 burritos, and a hashbrown. Mmmmmm.

Of course, I spent the most of the rest of the day in the bathroom. McDonald's does unspeakable things to the human gastrointestinal system. Never again.
