Do you play this any differently/is there any way to improve my chances of winning or am I just along for the ride?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

CO is 29/5/1.4. UTG is 33/17/1.
I think I played it well and it was just one of those things.

UTG calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, CO raises, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG calls, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (10.33 SB) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif (5 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, Hero checks, CO bets, BB calls, UTG calls, MP1 folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.16 BB) 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks, CO bets, BB folds, UTG calls, Hero calls.

River: (10.16 BB) A/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, CO checks.

Final Pot: 10.16 BB

Results in white below:
UTG has 8d 9d (one pair, eights).
Hero has Ts Js (high card, ace).

I think you're along for the ride. Is there more than a 1 in 10 chance that a bluff on the river folds both villains? That's about your best shot. CO probably has a decent pocket pair, QQ or JJ, and no idea what UTG is limping in and getting dragged along with, probably also on a draw. If CO is afraid of the K and the A out there and UTG missed his draw, then you'll probably be able to bluff at this river 1 in 10 times.
