Hand 1: Villain is incredibly loose/passive and bad preflop.
We're talking like 65/0.8/0.5.

I had planned on calling any blank river here. This one is probably pretty bad, so try not to hurt my feelings in your responses.

Hand 2:
Villain is a 30/10/1.5 type who is too loose and passive preflop, but fairly competently postflop. He probably views me as a little maniacal, but dangerous and somewhat tricky.

I don't think #1 is bad at all. I would play it the same way.

#2- I hate folding overpairs, but I don't see how you can call.

Are these really that boring? Can you guys give me some feedback/analysis on hand 1? Or just some "standard" stamps?
thanks

I'd probably call the river in the first one. I raise that turn alot of the time too.

I think both of your folds are horrendous. I think you have to call both of these. There is no guarantee that you are beat on the first hand. For 1 Bet you can call this.

Hand 2. I think this is even worse. I think that you should have checked this and called all the way down. There is no guarantee that this person just happened to hit their flush.

I hate hand 2. The only way you can fold is if you KNOW he has two diamonds. Do you KNOW this?

if you call the turn in hand 2, are you calling the river UI? Either way, I guess we could decide how often he has to have two pair versus one pair versus the flush to make calling all the way down +EV. I'm too lazy.

First hand - opponent could VERY easily have 78, 89, T8, or any T for that matter. [censored], he could have any piece of the board and play like that. If you're calling the turn you have to call the river. I hate the fold.

2nd hand - If opponent puts you on overcards, he could easily make this move with any pair. Don't fold.

Often, yes.

I think it's correct to pop the turn in hand 1, with the intent of not putting anymore money in the pot.

In hand 2 I don't like checking behiind on the turn to give all crappy diamonds free draws to beat you. Bet, call a checkraise and river bet.
