Converter Problems

I can't, for the life of me, get bisonbison's converter to work. I paste the HH from email, hit convert, and all that comes out is a link for converter. Am I missing something here? How the hell do I get this thing to work?

Bumpidy, because I've got the same problem. I know at least a few people are experiencing this.

Post the history you're having problems with and I'll see if I can get it to work. I've delved into the code for the converter and may be able to figure out what the problem is.

I am having the same problems, but it is only with PP and skin histories.

Depending on which site's output you're using, it may be a known issue. If you're a heavy user of the converter (or interested in how it works) here's a handy thread to keep on your favorites:

Like SheridanCat i'm interested in spelunking the code, but unlike him I haven't really done it yet (and don't consider myself Perl-literate... maybe i'll port it to Python, heh!).

With the recent Party update, it doesn't work unless you remove the word "Texas" out of the top line of the hand history.

That's odd, the patched one has been working fine for me. Can you post your hand history text?
