If you're going to make it t300 here, then you better fold with a raise and reraise in front of you, especially minraises, which send off warning bells.

I don't think pushing preflop is correct. I'd fold here with 6 players to act and 12x BB.

don't like. no sir, don't like it a bit (isn't that what the horse said on ren&stimpy?).

toooo early my friend (IMHO).
toooo many hands still on the table.

if i was at an extremely passive table, i'd consider limping...maybe even the 3x. but 99.9% of the time, i'm waiting for better position (and another level perhaps) to open push with a hand better (or not) than this one.

with a reraise, a rereraise behind you? i'm turbo muckin this sucker.

At best I think this is a limp. I usually fold this with more than 10 BB, and you need to lay it down to the reraise and re reraise- there's pretty much nothing your ahead of at this point and most likely you're up against a high PP (QQ at best I'd think)

Ren+Stimpy...I like you.
Yeah, I felt like it was a mistake right after I hit the button, but I couldn't resist pushing the shiny, candy-like button!

Edit: I was up against 77 and Ah2h, the board didn't help me or the A2 and we both busted to the 7's.
Yuck, don't like mistakes like that. Thanks veyr much to both for the input.

No. Not the right time to push. You're first to act, you have 12 BB's left, and you have a marginal hand. You don't have much folding equity from this position, and you're not in that bad a shape if you simply fold this hand (I don't like the t300 raise either). Muck it and pick a better SPOT (even if it's a worse HAND). Position and stack size matter more here.

Edit: Sorry, didn't mean to dogpile...I post before I look at what others have posted so as to learn the most.

Potential is a wonderful thing - but not with multiple mini raises before - you have a potential hand, not a hand.
There'll be another hand along in a minute......muck this one.

no, i don't think it was a good time to push. i would have folded this hand preflop. the only thing you got going for you is this hand is suited- which is'nt a good enough reason to push [especially in a $5.50]. the first problem is being reraised by the shortstack. the second problem is another reraise by the chipleader [ WARNING! WARNING! ].
